Back Way to Mount Lemmon 2.0
This is an alternate way to get up or down Mt Lemmon. The other way is from Tucson. This road is also called the Control Road.

The Jeep trail may not really be as difficult as 2.0, but I would not want to take my Father's Buick on it. Any high clearance vehicle is OK as long as you do not mind washboarding and an occasional shallow rut.
The road is in the pines at higher elevations and is open desert at lower elevations. There are a couple of cafes and a store in the village at the top. Makes a nice cool drive in hot weather. There is a GPS - gpx track at the bottom of the page.
