An easy road through a canyon stuffed with rock art, dwellings and even a reconstructed kiva.
We only show a few of the attractions on this website. Keep a sharp eye and you will see more. All of the items pictured have waypoints so you can find them "easily". Some are hard to pick out, but they are there. There is a GPS - gpx track file at the bottom of the page. |
The two dwellings pictured here are across the creek from the waypoints. They are close together.
Three Kiva Pueblo is what we believe to have been "reconstructed" by BLM. Nevertheless, it is amazing to descend into. It gives a good feeling of what one was like.
Here are 2 of the pictographs in the canyon.
We believe this structure to be a granary. There is one wall remaining of what might have been a dwelling higher on the hill to the right.
